1863 Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Monument Replicas
This marker, made of Maine granite, indicates the 3rd Maine’s position on July 3, 1863. The 3rd Maine was commanded at that time by Colonel Moses B. Lakeman who took over the brigade on July 3.
The monument is located on Hancock Avenue across from the Copse of Trees.
